Oakview Walk was the third and final phase of a comprehensive affordable housing redevelopment program in Decatur. It is a 34–unit project that replaced a 60–year old apartment project that was past its useful life. Twenty seven apartments are designated for families earning less than 60% of the area mean income (AMI) with the remaining units available for those earning up to 120% of AMI, providing safe, healthy, comfortable, and efficient housing in the rapidly developing City of Decatur. It is located within walking distance of schools, parks, restaurants, stores, and other amenities.
